May 2023 | Lied von der Erde and subscription concerts with the Hofer Symphoniker

This month, Martijn makes his debut with the HERMESensemble in Belgium and will conduct them in Mahler's "Das Lied von der Erde". The music will be performed in the orchestra pit of the Red Hall in De Singel, since these concerts feature a staged version by Philippe Quesne, which was first performed at the Wiener Festwochen. Christina Daletska and Michael Pflumm will perform as soloists. Later this month he returns to the Hofer Symphoniker for a program with music by Weill and Jolivet, together with trumpet soloist Selina Ott.
